about

When I first discovered Jim O'Rourke*, I found myself listening to this song a lot. After the passing of both of my grandmothers this last fall, it took on a new meaning for me.

This song is a tribute to Jean Geiger and Claire Leslie, who both helped make great strides for women, and who raised their families with the belief that all people are created equal.

It is also dedicated to all the women in my life, who I have no doubt make the world a better place, each and every one.

-Trevor from The Arrowsics

*This is a cover of the Jim O'Rourke version of an Ivor Cutler song.
